National Office Update

Dear RDA UK volunteers and staff,

The Paralympics have started! Only a year later than planned and with a lot of upheaval on the way, our fabulous Equestrian Team GB are raring to go with their first event tomorrow. I thought I’d dedicate this email to giving you a bit of an update on who’s who and what to watch, when.

Please help us get behind the team, all of whom are fantastic ambassadors for RDA, equestrian and disability sport. This is always a great opportunity for us to shout about what we do – not just at competitive level, but throughout RDA - at every group around the UK.

First though….a great opportunity for groups buying horses…

Wooden Spoon Grant for help buying horses

Today we have launched a new grants programme to help groups to buy horses. The Wooden Spoon RDA Equine Acquisition Project will fund 20 Grants of up to £1000 to groups towards the purchase of a horse or pony. For full details and criteria, please visit www.myrda.org.uk/runningyourgroup/group-fundraising-events/the-wooden-spoon-rda-equine-acquisition-project/

Applications close at 5pm on Wednesday 15 September 2021.
