Exciting New Partnership

RDA becomes an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award

We're pleased to announce that RDA has partnered with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award to become and Approved Activity Provider for the Volunteering Section of the Award. This means individuals looking to complete their award can approach an RDA group confident that their volunteering opportunity will count towards the award and be of a good quality.

What is the Duke of Edinburgh's Award?

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a national Award Scheme designed to enable young people to develop new skills, promote self-confidence and to expand their horizons.  It has been going for almost 60 years and key aspect of the award is getting involved as a volunteer with a charity or community organisation. To achieve this section, many young people choose to become an RDA Volunteer.
